Welcome to touch-tone art and culture presented by the Krasl Art Center. The following audio tour features information about the exhibitions currently on display.

Outside, we are featuring works from the 2016 Biennial Sculpture Invitational. This exhibition series, which began in 1996, showcases new and exciting contemporary sculpture throughout the St. Joseph and Benton Harbor communities.

Be sure to stop by the Krasl Art Center at 707 Lake Boulevard to view our galleries. In our main galleries, we are currently featuring Albert Paley: Forging Sculpture 1979-2015.  Albert Paley is an internationally acclaimed artist who has continuously pushed the boundaries of his work, its process and materials through several contexts. He emerged in the mid-1960s as an artist goldsmith and by the end of the 1960s he became involved with the forging of steel.  This exhibit shows Paley’s completed works in the forged process alongside earlier pieces and drawings.

This exhibition has been organized by the Paley Studios Archive and is circulated through GuestCurator Traveling Exhibitions.

In the ArtLab we are featuring an update on Sculpting Community, an exciting project of the Krasl Art Center that will activate its grounds through engaging activities, an event green and a major new sculpture commission.  The project will be completed in 2018.  Discover the behind-the-scenes team, vision and evolution of the project and share your feedback.

These exhibitions will be on view January 27 – April 9, 2017.

Thank you and enjoy your tour.
